Our convalescing package can be tailored to suit your horse's personal needs, however an example of what can be included is listed below. We have worked with many insurance companies and veterinary surgeons to ensure your horse's needs are met fully, accurately and comprehensively. We are also often able to help you recover possibly up to the full livery costs on this service if your horse has comprehensive insurance. Being BHS approved for convalescing livery, many insurance companies agree to fund either partial or full convalescing livery costs as they have peace of mind knowing that the horse's individual care needs will be professionally met at our yard. We are able to provide accepted paperwork to your insurance company to allow you to recover your livery costs through them if you hold comprehensive insurance that covers this aspect.

We are able to offer stables for horses and ponies on box rest. We can tailor this service to meet veterinary guidance. We are able to offer the following:

All the facilities of the luxury stable package but including the following:

1. Dedicated use of stable 24/7
2. Administration of medication at strict, directed times throughout the day
3. Dressing changes
4. Cleaning of wounds
5. Use of horsewalker for up to 1/2 hour per day
6. Specialist dietary requirements
7. Close monitoring
8. 24/7 veterinary call out and weekly veterinary attendance at the yard
9. Remedial trimming hoof care by quality registered farrier
10. Massage available for help with circulation, ailments of all types and general well-being.
11. We are approved by our Equine veterinary surgeon to carry out convalescing care
12. 24/7 On site Centre Owner and high level security measures in place
13. PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accept horses with contagious illnesses/diseases.
Price : £550 per calendar month

Disclaimer: Please note we are not a livery yard and are therefore unable to accommodate ridden horses.
We ONLY accept kind natured horses in genuine need of a quality retirement home. We are unable to accommodate horses with dangerous or seriously unpredictable vices.
We are unable to accomodate horses with hind shoes although front shoes are acceptable.
